Tomkinson has been a Fort Wayne area business for over 30 years and deserves the opportunity to be able to sell Chrysler products and be part of the team. I, personally, have purchased vehicles from Tomkinson and would consider doing so in the future. Your consideration to what this means to the Fort Wayne area would be appreciated.

Tompkinson dodge dealership served me for many years and always took care of my needs for my Chrysler van. They went out of thier way to mak sure that it was serviced properly. I hope that they can get thier Dodge dealership restored.

I have been a customer of Tomkinson for many years. My last two vehicles, a durango, and now my charger were purchased from them. I trust the service that I have received, and believe they are second to none ! Chrysler has made a terrible mistake, and I hope they soon restore the dodge dealership. I won’t be purchasing another new vehicle unless they do.

Tomkinson is the only reason I’d ever buy a Dodge again. They always stood behind their vehicles: they made a fan of my relatives, and then a fan of me, for several years.
Recently, some relatives purchased a vehicle from another-dealer-who-will-go-without-name. They were treated so disreputably (“bait and switch” is the term that comes to mind), that I’ll never buy another Dodge — unless it’s from Tomkinson.

I was stunned to find out that Chrysler/Federal Government terminated Tomkinson’s franchise agreement. I have had my wife’s Dodge Caravan serviced there and I have been very satisfied. I seriously doubt we will buy any Chrysler vehicle ever again unless Tomkinson’s franchise is reinstated.

I can you from experiance that Tomkinson Dodge have the best Dodge Service Departments that I have every been to. Scott High is a outstanding Service Manager. He has always taken care of my truck when it is in need of some repair. Goverment has no right to be involved in a private business. It is not costing them one penny for Tomkinson Dodge to be in Business. I thought this was AMERICA and everyone had a right to own a business. Come November we will be on our way of having that right restored. If Goverment is going to do this to hard working people that have been in business for this long maybe we need to start looking at who americans are voting into office.

Jeff: Thanks. Your right this is America and that’s what my dad fought in three wars for and why I served. God Bless America!

Tomkinson was the first dealership in 20 years that I felt treated me respectfully, honestly, and sincerely–as if they appreciated my purchased, wished to support me as a customer who made an important investment/purchase. Service and sales both were superior, location and access were superb and I thought I had made a new “dealership home.” Now, without Chrysler supporting them I have sincere doubts about supporting Dodge with future purchases. After my warranty I doubt I will be using any Dodge service facility, either.

We think that closing this facility is unjustified. They provide an excellent service to this community, and the surrounding area, along with the opportunity to purchasing either a new Dodge or used vehicles. Not only that, they employ certified mechanics to service these automobiles. These mechanics and service people put their payroll money back into the community. THATS PART OF THE STIMULAS PROGRAM AS I understand it. For example, my son was visiting here and the driver side power window became disabled. I called Tomkinson and they serviced the broken power window, and he was able to get to Arkansas the next day. That’s what I call down home service.
Think about it Detroit.

Thomkinson Dodge has been the only dealer my business and family has used for 20 years. Their stellar reputation and years of service cannot be replaced. Having purchased 4 trucks and 2 cars with Thomkinson it is the service after the pruchase. Scott High and his service team not only maintains our vehicles but does so completely and confidently. We have encouraged many friends to purchase their Dodge vehicles from Thomkinson due to the exceptional dealer they are. Chrysler needs to re=think thier actions and re-instate Thomkinson’s dearlerhip.
With their 5 star rating they were the top performer in sales and service.

We started out with a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan that we purchased from Tomkinson Dodge. Their spectacular service and willingness to assit us with the purchase of our vehicle and the commitment to correct any issues we had, we have since returned and purchased a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan. We are being forced to take to the Glenbrook Dodge for our warrenty. They have not satisfied out level of service or the kind of customer relationship we had with Tomkinson Dodge.

I have always been impressed by the professionalism of the Tomkinson Dodge dealership both service and sales departments. The dealership and its employees have been a great asset to Fort Wayne! The lose has hurt the city and many customers and employees. Please consider what this means to Fort Wayne and its citizens when making your decision. Competition is a good thing.

On July 18, 2009, I travelled 2 hours, past many competing dealerships on my way to Tomkinson. Once we arrived, we were treated with respect, and were able to close the deal on a new vehicle on our first visit, and all before lunchtime! Caar buying can be a daunting task at times, but we were encouraged by this visit, knowing there is a better way of doing things in the car business, the Tomkinson Way. Perhaps Dodge doesn’t appreciate that, but I know my wife and I do! (Thanks, Hal!)

This past December, my daughter totaled her car. She is a full time student and with her student loans, could not qualify for a loan at other dealers. when we came to Tomkinson, Rick Tomkinson told us not to worry, that they would get it done. My daughter was able to purchase a 2007 Toyota Yarris from Tomkinson after being told she had isufficient credit at other dealers.
After that, I found a 2003 Ram 1500 that I purchased. Both transactions were handled with the utmost courtesy and professionalism.

I started coming to Tomkinson after having a bad experience at another dealership. Al Elingher was the salesman to help me. Al and the crew took great care in what I was looking for. Al showed me a vehicle that I was very happy with. I have bought 2 vehicles from Tomkinson Dodge. I have always had all my repairs and services done there. The service and parts department have always kept myself informed of what was going on with repairs and got everything done in a timely matter. The professionalism of Tomkinson Dodge is the best around. I am looking forward to them hopefully becoming a full Dodge Dealership again.

We have been Tomkinson customers for over 25 years and have bought at least six vehicles from Tomkinson over the years. We have always been pleased with the professional and courteous behavior of the employees and have appreciated the excellent service from the dealership. In recent years we have developed a relationship with Al Elingher and have come to value his principles as a salesman, which reflects the principles of the dealership. We have come to see the staff of Tomkinson as friends and believe that Chrysler has made a serious mistake in taking away their Dodge dealership. It has been the best, most reputable, and most trusted Chrysler dealership in the Fort Wayne area. We hope that they will soon become a Dodge dealership again so that we can continue to remain Dodge customers.

I have been a customer at Tomkinson Dodge for several years and have purchased cars from them and had them serviced regularly. Their work and their customer relations has been excellent and I would highly recommend that their dealership be re-instated. Their loss of dealership is a loss to Dodge owners in this community

Tomkinson Dodge was and is a fine automotive establishment. I personally used them for maintenance on both of my vehicles. There technicians are well trained professionals. I am looking forward to Chrysler reenstating their dealership. Tomkinson is a fine reputable business. They ALWAYS treated me and my family honestly and fairly at every occasion. I will continue to support their business. Bring back their dealership!!!!

lWe’ve always had good service at Tomkinson. The criteria used to determine which stores got shafted was ridiculous. Bring ‘em back is correct.

There needs to be more than one Dodge dealer in Fort Wayne. I bought my Dodge at a different dealer in town, the experience was not good. I will not take my truck back there if I don’t have to. I’ve been bringing it here to Tomkinson and the work has been great. I really feel like I can trust Tomkinson, whereas the other dealer has lost my trust.

Tomkinson Dodge has outstanding service!
Even when I admittedly cringe when I hear the total amount due
Truth is … I am always given options and to date.. the truth!
I came to Tomkinson after being repeatedly lied to by their competitor on the north side of town who lied to us about two seperate vehicles and did not give even marginally good customer service.
After being lied to on several occassions we decided to try Tompkinson and have been pleased ever since.
Having been lied to as well by the Salesman at the other dealership we drove all the way to Valpariso to get our Durango when we were told there were none left in Black in any surrounding areas.
In 20 Mins on the internet I found a bevy of them in all the surrounding states and chose Valpo as my first drive.
Love my Dodge Durango , dissappointed I cannot get a new one but if I could I sure would NEVER buy a car from the folks on the north side of Fort Wayne. I was both shocked and appalled that Tompkinson was the one to lose the dealership. It was inconceivable and they should get their dealership back ASAP.
I am sure nothing inherently honest happened in the transaction for the other folks to keep their delaership.
I vote to give back Tomkinson’s Dealership based on their integrity, longevity and level of customer Service!
